Inside Sales Representative

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is critical to the success of our sales organization. An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and networking activities. Customer interaction will comprise the majority of the workday in the form of telephone and e-mail communications in an effort to sell and market RedPeak's Virtual Private Data Center and Lab As A Service solutions to business customers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospecting, lead generation and setting appointments.
  • Tracking and management of current and potential customers through the use of management software and systems.
  • Successful sale of RedPeak's solutions.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly sales quota and other goals.
  • Establish strategic relationships with vendors and partners, etc.
  • Participation in regular networking activities.
  • Responsible for providing reports on sales activity, sales forecasts and other quantifiable sales objective measurements.
  • Perform other job related duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years sales experience in Internet/software sales
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Independent working and decisions making skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Easily adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of the Internet, Web 2.0, Cloud computing, Software Development
  • Ability to demonstrate sales process

Sales Engineer - Pre-Sales and Post Sales

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Engineer has high visibility within our company. A Sales Engineer will engage the customer to provide grid solution architecture. The pre-sales engineer will manage the technical aspects of the account relationship including ongoing support. The successful candidate will be a hands-on design engineer who will provide technical leadership across operations and sales.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in RFP/RFQ responses
  • Work with prospects to identify their requirements
  • Communicate with customer as required
  • Demonstrate salient features of RedPeak's solutions
  • Participate in customer training

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive domain knowledge of large-deployment hosted IT architecture
  • Background in server and collocation design and deployment
  • Extensive networking including routers, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Independent working and decisions making skills
  • Light software development

Account Executive - Enterprise Software Development Systems

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Account Executive drives business for RedPeak Solutions. An Account Executive will expand the West Coast territory through penetration of existing customer accounts and development of new relationships. The Account Executive will assume responsibility for setting priorities within the company and the territory. The Account Executive must be energetic, very organized, multi-tasked oriented, capable of prioritizing opportunities, meeting deadlines and completing assignments with minimal supervision.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new client relationships
  • Manage lead generation efforts from marketing campaigns, client visits
  • Participate in networking events such as trade shows
  • Participate in RFP/RFQ responses
  • Participate in customer training
  • Manage the ongoing client relationship

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intimately familiar with server hosting and software integration landscape
  • Experience selling VMware, colocation, Xen, routers or integration services
  • Background in selling into software development, release, and quality assurance
  • Ability to strategize and prospect for targeted Enterprise companies
  • Establish and maintain good public relations and networking to develop business
  • Experience consulting with clients to uncover needs and identify opportunities
  • Interact with Marketing and Operations
  • Proven ability to close sales
  • About 7 years as a top earner in a similar sales capacity
  • Limited Travel
